John
and Carole Magnuson purchased the
property in late February, 2007. They have done extensive redecorating
and exterior work in progress.
Within a month of moving in, they have served many guests. John,
who plays the organ beautifully, was a printer the majority of
his life, while Carole worked in the corporate
world and ran several businesses through her own entreprenurial talents.
John and Carole are not new to the hospitality industry, as they
had owned and operated a 31-unit resort/motel in Wisconsin for
10 years
while raising their four children. They knew someday that they wanted
to get back into the hospitality business, but on a smaller scale.
After years of research and looking at many properties in the Southeast,
they found what they were looking for: a quaint bed and breakfast
within walking distance of a beautiful town square in the friendly
town of Paris, Tennessee. |
