The
Veranda brings the past and present together in a very
tasteful yet comfortable setting. The Veranda is situated in
the Robert E. Lee Historic School District, only four blocks
from the original school where dance, theatre and art classes,
as well as other functions, are now offered in the renovated
building.
Built
in 1909 - 1910, the Veranda maintains much of its original
charm. The woodwork and fireplaces are in original condition,
while extensive renovations on the interior
and exterior were completed.
All
rooms in the house are appointed with today's modern
conveniences including wireless Internet, TV
and central air conditioning and heat. There
are gas fireplaces in the bedrooms, parlor and library
for the comfort of our guests.
Verandas
have long appealed to Southerners, and this worthy architectural
design is alive and well in Paris, Tenn. White wicker rockers
invite guests to read the morning paper or wile away an afternoon
on the front porch.
